Take a step back on yourself and ask questions to yourself.
You need to be aware of why you have reacted this way to something, why you are sad about something, why you are against a viewpoint.
Once you’ve found the reasons for your emotions, your reactions, your viewpoint your convictions will be stronger, and it will make you aware of your bad habits as well as your thought patterns.
We are speaking about introspection here, this is why you need to do it correctly.
A lot of people are doing it incorrectly and therefore get no benefits from it.
